Times Table And Measurement at Te Waka Ako.

Today I am gonna tell you what I did in maths as you can see its times table and measurement. Now when I did times table it was easy but when I do measurement it is quite hard but I tried my best anyways. So when I was doing measurement I used something that is called um I forgot but you measure it by using your body.  We measured half of the netball court and we were working on groups to make it easier and we were one of the groups to finish. Somewhere of the day when we did maths we were to measure something that is a meter or higher and we started at 1cm we use finger nail to measure a bark and legs to measure the with of the playground.

Now on the times table we use prototec and it has division times table and more. Now when I did prototec I put a timer and it was going pretty fast. If you don't know what prototec it is a website where you can answer basic facts questions that are hard and easy. Now it shows you if you're correct or not after you finish and it if you click on the certificate button it shows you how many percent of how much you go right or wrong. Here is a picture of it.

What happen on Tool Kits!

 Hello today I'm gonna be writing what I did in Tool Kits . 

Before the day I already knew that I have to go Tool Kits. The next day we went to Owairaka School and that's where the Tool Kits were. Before we get into the activities someone explained to us where to go and what were gonna do. On the first one me and my buddy was in the same class and what we did was Minecraft Coding. It wasn't that difficult because I have done it before but some part of it was hard like planting plants. I had to put lots of coding and my finger even hurts after doing it. So I had to use a different finger and I did a lot other modes in Minecraft Coding now moving on.

Now this next activity was in the same room but different it is Incredibox. It was fun but there were lots of people playing it so I couldn't hear it that much. I played it anyways I enjoyed it cause there were people making beats and singing. You should try it type Incredibox and it will show up with these different bands just press in any of them and its for free.

Incredibox was amazing but now we move on to a different one and it is drum roll please Piskel! it was my favourite cause you can create characters. First they explained to us how to play it but I already knew but I listened to the instruction anyways. I created a ninja or a farmer it was so cool cause you could colour it to I was having a great time. After the Piskel we went into where all the schools met and we were lucky to have front seats. Sorry I forgot to tell you that in the start and also we had morning tea and lunch time. Then finally there were these fusion guys and they were siblings and they told us how they got there work.

You see these three things at the top that was what we did in Spark Arena. We were very lucky to go there for free but it was only the Year Sixes that went. When I came to school my friend said where going to Spark arena and I was surprised, I did not even know that it was happening today. When it was 9 o'clock the teachers gathered us and said "bring some food". All the year sixes went to the bus and got ready.

When we got there we lined up in two lines then we went inside I was surprised that it was a bar! Us year sixes sat on the ground and they talked us through and they also introduce their self. The first thing was went to was Happy Place. There were lots of cool stuff to take a picture in and there was this mirror section and I thought I would get lost but I didn't. Now the cool part is we got to take a picture jumping in a pit of ball so 1 2 3 we jump one at a time so when I jump on it I't felt very uncomfortable because I couldn't move I use all my power to touch the ground and get out. Tt was very hard. It's like the ball pulling you in the pit but I manage to get out. The teacher took some more pictures and pictures now moving on to our next activity.

Sounds Fun is where you can play different kinds of instruments but not all is there. There was a trombone and I got to play it. I was very bad though at least I got to try. After playing that I listened to some good sound track it was really cool cause you can change it to different sounds. I got kind of bored and I said I will come back to it later so I went to have a look around and I saw electric drums so I went and wait on the line and it was finally my turn. There was a iPad that was like telling you what note to play and I did a pretty good job but on the 2 one not really that good and the third one good I was happy playing it. You know what the last one is.

Van Gogh I know it does not sound cool but it is we got to look at some paintings and I think they were quite popular it was quiet in there we were playing with the graphics on the ground and there was also some videos. Also some of the paintings are from different country's.

Anzac under the wires day

 Hi bloggers. If you don't know what the title means it means we were in trenches but it wasn't real. We had to crawl tho but if you touch the wires you lose a life and you only have ten. Now the first activity was doing maths test its not any kind of maths test there were gun sounds to distract us but they were not just sounds from the speaker. Every one was getting distracted easily but they where trying there best to work. I was getting kind of distracted too but I was still focusing. By that minute my back started hurting and my neck to. After 6 minutes and and half or just six the timer was done one of the students grab everyone's sheet and pass it to the teachers and it must have been hard for them. After the maths test we did writing where we have to write a letter to our family but it was just pretend like the "food were gross in this war" that was an example. It was not that hard I was able to do lots. And yea we also did POEMS.  While were writing there were more gun sounds and I said in my mind really.

Finally it was morning tea we got to go out side but it was raining so we had to go inside the hall. inside there were lots of space and everyone playing but one of the teacher said "lets play a game" and I was exited. It Was like Simon says but like a different way there four rounds and one real on the real one I was nervous but I was able to make it kind of far. So that was most of the morning tea but it wasn't that fun.

Now it was time we had to go back to the strings it was hard because some people got carpet burn but I was in swimming after the swimming we had to draw like when the teacher was reading the story we have to draw what it looks like I was actually fun but it was challenge for me because the wires were getting lower.

Now at lunch time it wasn't raining so I was able to play I really needed to stretch cause I was crawling.

Family Fun Day

 Today I'm blogging about family fun day but first I got to tell you what it is. Family fun day happened last Friday its about having fun and just playing. But if you forgot to bring something that was important that you need in family fun day you wouldn't be able to play or pay for food. In the family fun day there were family's. you get it your mum or dad could come or just one of them could and it was also house colour day where you have to wear a shirt that is colour soothing and there is four colours which is blue,yellow,green and red. So I'm on blue you get chosen what colour were you when you get to this school and it happens every year I think. Now that I have tolled you lots of things what family fun day is I am going to tell you what happened when it started.

The first activity for us were wheels its were we have to ride bike and skateboards and other but we had to bring wheels on our own and I forgot mine but there were spare bikes,skate boards and scooter so we keep riding and riding and have fun when the bell rings I think we switch activity's. 

The second one was slip and slide and swimming. Its really fun going in slip and slide and so those going to the pool and I have made a blog about slip and slide we got split into two groups and I was with the slip and slide group. There was a long line but it was worth it. so we kept in going and then it was finally pool time but we got washed first and then we went to the pool I was having so much fun! it finally was time to move to another. 

but we had lunch first it was like 45 minute break. The food that I ate in family fun day was hot dog and ice block and I got my favourite flavour. after the long lunch break we went to a bouncy castle but it was a obstacle course and there were two one is big and one is small. I went on the big one first but we had to wait in line and we had a race to the finish. My hat keeps falling off because I had to go through this thin paths and there was a slide when I slide there part of my feet was kind of burned its because when you slide and its hot it will hurt i have done that and it did not feel good so that was most of it now im showing you the pictures on family fun day.

4 LOCK DOWN LEVEL 3

 In our lock down we had to do lock down creations which is like where you put maths, reading and writing and also other things I enjoyed doing it because I got to do my favourite activities but it should not be the same because you already have done it and if you do it again you would know the answers easily and that is the reason why you shouldn't do the same every day.

 My favourite activity was art I like it because you get to learn how to draw things like tiger or surprise puppet it was actually fun doing it I got to colour the puppet surprise and probably scare someone with It but It wont actually happen they already now whats coming. So art is my favourite activity because I normally draw at home or sketch.

Now about lock down diary lock down diary is different from lock down creations it is writing in our lock down creations we had to do activity from it every day like whats your favourite movie what does your family like to do and yea so that is what lock down diary is.

When It was lock down I was surprise I thought I had school but there wasn't when I was in lock down I wasn't really that bored because I had home work to do and I also draw or sketch but I felt like going to school so I can go play with my friends but I got to see them in online class. When we were in our online class we had fancy or creepy cosplay I did fancy because I like it and its way more easier for me because I have fancy outfit. and yea we did kahoot other games and stuff in online class yea i felt kind of bored during lock down. So that was all the things that I did in lock down well most of it.

Slip and slide

  Slip and slide Te waka ako

Hello everyone today I'm gonna tell you what happened in slip and slide. Yesterday we went slip and slide it was really cool but first we all had to change to our togs then we can do slip and slide. We all had a turn our self it was really cool the slide was filled with soap. Then I had a turn to slide it was so cool then I crashed on those matt that was like a sponge. Now we all had to get a buddy and slide with them it was cool but I crashed on Arrav  but he was OK. then we all kept going. After our slip and slide the other class get there turn.
